I can not for the life of me obtain this achievement. I have heard that there is some glitch if you get a plasma nade stuck in a lift and some guy gets killed by it you get it but that did not work for me
I was on my way to an epic battle of sorts, when I saw this guy in a grav-lift. As soon as he exited it on my floor, ‘I shot him wit ma gun!’ Turns out, he had no shields! Easy achie, just gotta be patient, and sometimes, not chase these achievements like you would usually do. 
I believe you are mistaken. This is the achievement where you kill someone while mid air in a warthog

Warthogs don’t stand a chance in this game! A complete let down, a vehicle lover was I.
Best bet, find a bunch of friends and take turns gunning eachother down

it seems someone dosent fully read the OP. I already did that, got 3 kills like that and no achievement
was suggesting throwing against the wall part of that post, thought maybe you could try that…

As much as you should avoid this, but in harvest the amount of bumps on the ground is ridiculous. Try to get a driver that actually tries to splatter people, and all you have to do is spam the machine gun turret. That’s how I got the achievement.

I have no problem throwing the nade against the wall which hence makes it float. That has been done but still was not achieved

it is quite hard
I got it in a slayer match on Harvest I think. But it’d be even easier to get it on a King of the Hill match, since the enemy players will be hanging around the jumps when the hill are beside them.
