Now that the Premium Battle Pass lets you earn your Credits back, what will you be using them for? [POLL]

Now that I’ve completed the Battle Pass, I find myself with 1000 Credits to spend, but with nothing interesting to spend them on. I’m curious to know if any of you have plans for them, or if you’ve already spent them on something!

  • Saving them for the next Battle Pass
  • Spending them on Store Bundles
  • Spending them on XP Boosts and Challenge Swaps
  • Spending them on a variety of things
  • I didn’t buy the Battle Pass

Wait wait wait…you only get credits if you buy the premium battle pass…???

Hey people, this is a legitimate question. I have not played “Season 2” so I have no idea what’s in the battle pass. I have no idea what changes were made to purchases and the store. All I know is that the battle pass was going to give credits…

Now it seems you have to buy those credits anyway not actually be able to earn them.

I’m tempted to buy the premium pass now they offer credits as some of the unlockables. When/If I do get it, I’ll most likely save the credits for the next premium pass

mmmh lets see…

spend 10$ every 3 months for the next 10 years to unlock 100s of lame cosmetics in the BP and spend 1000cr on overpriced store cosmetics

OR

spend 10$ once and unlock 100s of lame cosmetics in the BP for the next 10 years but at least give this game some sort of progression

“earnable credits” are a lie and battlepasses need to be erased from the industry

You really think all cosmetics are lame?

most of the cosmetics made by 343 dont stand out at all, but Im a sucker for bungie made stuff (reach and mark vi once its out).

whats lame is the fact that we unlock cosmetics in the hundreds but your spartan has like what 10 customization slots in total? so youll never use most of the stuff you unlock either in the BP, the store or through ultimate challenges.

its a non-stop “unlocking new stuff dopamine rush” that Id gladly swap for a halo 3 style ranking system.

Oh, yeah sure I can totally get behind that. I’ll take rewards earned through performance over rewards earned through anything else any day.

But, I do want to give credit where it’s due. I think the Mark VII armor core along with most of the armor pieces that come along with it look cool as hell. I think it certainly deserves to stand besides the Halo 3, and Halo Reach Spartan designs, unlike the play-doh creations that were the Halo 4 and 5 Spartans.

I didn’t get any credits in my S1 pass, so I haven’t bought S2 pass.

You get 1k credits from s2 battlepass and all future

You only need to buy the battlepass for 1k to get the 1k credits by leveling the battlepass

Season 1 does not have credits

1,000 credits is all they could muster per season? That is absurd.

They should have given 1K credits to those who bought S1 pass.

well unlike WZ there’s no extra credits so… it’s only logical to spend it on the next pass. most so given the lack of good enough content in the store xd

Saving the 1,000 credits for the next season’s Battle Pass :stuck_out_tongue: With the amount of armor and armor pieces that we have, my interest has been significantly cut down in getting anything from the Store save for maybe some cheap coatings.

Of course, it helps that between the Xbox Gift Card I got for Christmas and the other $30 Gift Card I got from my reward points at my local gas station, I haven’t technically been spending any money on the Store or the Battle Pass :stuck_out_tongue:

They Kinda are,

Just by the nature that they are locked behind cores.
If you had acess to all the cosmetics in the game for a single spartan model, they would be the best thing in Halo.

But because of the unbelievably stupid core system,
All the cosmetics that would look pretty great together, can’t.

Thus…
All cosmetics suck because of it.

Saving for future passes. I don’t plan to spend much money on this game, so this is by far the best deal.

I used MS Rewards for this season and I already had a bunch of credits that I was gifted. If I see something I like, I’ll get it (within reason) but I haven’t really yet.

I dunno, whatever seems worth investing them into?

A very strange take, I can’t agree with that.

Nothing Strange about it,

Core locked items defeats the point of customizations.
Chest slots I bought at the Store for the Mark5 are completely useless if I want to use a Yaroi helmet,

If there is a cool Mk7 Helmet on the store, I can’t use it with a Mk5 core with any of the armor parts I’ve already spent money on or unlocked from the Season 1 Battle pass.

Its Stupid,
And Dumb.

At the rate that content is released, older cores can be completely abandoned content wise.
Meaning any amount of money can be completely lost in content creep.

The $20s I spent buying armor parts for the Mk5, will eventually go completely unused because of newer content being exclusive to newer cores. It’s money wasted on the promise of an expanded cosmetics pool that 343i are likely never going to deliver on.

Again,
It’s dumb, like, really really really unbelievably dumb.
The core system was designed by someone who really really really hates the Halo player base in thee most vindictive way.

It objectively does not, you can still customize your spartan, just to less of a degree than you would like to.

You know this when you buy the armor, this is not a suprise, you know what you’re getting.

That’s possible, but 1 that hasn’t happened yet, and 2 that doesn’t diminish the value of that old core.

This is bogus. If you like the Mark V [B] core, there is nothing stopping you from using that core. Newer does not equal better, you saying this just means you’re a trend chaser.

Completely false, it’s money spent on armor you liked enough to buy. Nothing ever changes about the terms of use, like you can use the armor to the exact degree you were aware of when you purchased it.

I think it’s dumb to spend money on a system you think is dumb.

It’s honestly a perfectly reasonable idea.
