Reason for the playlist consolidation is due to the low population so adding 2 more playlists for DLC is not going to happen, especially since DLC playlists always have a low population.
Once Champions dlc period is over it will most likely go back to the regular 1 rotational dlc playlist, or in worst case there wont be any DLC playlist at all when that time comes.
Well, The Champions Bundle DLC playlist is obviously ongoing at the moment and they plan to cycle through the other map pack DLCs in the future but it wouldn’t hurt to have another one for the first three map packs I guess.
