Now that Microsoft has bought out Activision

They can have exclusivity on COD if they want. Even more reason to turn Halo back into a Halo game and gain it’s character back. Remove crossplay. Remove infinite sprint or at least put it like it was in Reach where you’re shield couldnt recharge while sprinting and the ability was on a cooldown so you couldn’t just spend the whole game sprinting everywhere. Increase radar distance to what it was in previous games. Confine BR starts MLG settings to it’s own different ranked playlist.

Halo = fixed.

Wow, um, was not expecting that. I don’t think it will impact Halo all the much though, but cool I guess.

Insane so insane i wrote more than 20 characters

Maybe if they’d put that 70 Billion into Halo: Infinite, we might’ve actually had Co-Op and Forge on time lol.

On a less sarcastic note, I am very curious to see what this means for CoD as it is one of Halo’s biggest competitors and a juggernaut in its own right.

After the purchase of Zenimax, Microsoft are just flexing at this point, lol.

I think they would rarther be selling battlepasses and skins to the millions of COD playstation users.
I assume that would trump any uptick in harware sales / gamepass subs.

Hopefully someone at MS pushes for a Tony Hawk Underground remake :joy:

That’s surprising, so I guess Activision is really gone. Good riddance.

I legit didn’t believe this until I read Phil’s announcement tweet. I never honestly imagined an acquisition this big would be possible.

Legit craziest gaming story of all time imo

This reply did not age well… :laughing:
