Now that 343 is coming back from their break what issues do you want fixed the most?

I would like to be able to opt into game types in social and big team. Give me mode check boxes and a mini match making composer akin to MCC’s social setup

-They need to get ANY reach armour out of the store and put into the battle pass.
-They need to allow ALL armour to be unlockable by playing, not paying. (Have pay an option for the whales)
-They need to add credits to the battle pass to equal the cost of purchase.
-They need to make ALL coatings cross core.
-They need to add playlist selection.

My number 1 request is add BR starts to BTB. It gets real old spawning and having to wait for a BR if someone just snatched it before you. Either add BR starts or at the very least add more weapon racks.

Don’t try to sell me customization items that I thought were included in the Battle pass before I bought it day 1. Emile and Carter’s shoulders appeared to be unlocked, you unlock the whole character in the Battle pass, but then I find out after I get high enough to unlock Carter that I can’t customize his armor at all if I equip it as the set, not even the color, and then I realize that I never unlocked or will unlock his shoulders.
If they try to sell these to us piece by piece, this will guaranteed be the last time I buy a Battle pass.or support this game with my money. Without any word on the policy I’m scared this will be the case. I don’t want to be mad that a cash shop is in a free to play game. I can understand that. But double dipping with something I thought I already bought will be the last straw for me.

More playlists and modes please. They are multipliers of the existing content.

Then fix settings and some bugs - enable FF and fix collision, fix custom game saves, fix theatre bugs

Then more maps

Then way at the bottom progression and customization

I just want more ranked playlists, that’s it, that’s my one ask. I want ranked Slayer, FFA, Snipers, etc like almost every other Halo has had. This only having 1 playlist to play (I don’t care about social personally, but even if that was something I enjoyed, the same barebones approach is being taken there as well. And I’ve never been a fan of BTB, but it’s even more unbearable than usual since there are no BR starts,) is gonna get old really fast once the new wears off

Turning down the screenshake should help with the headbob, unstable frames on pc might be due to frametiming. And I’d suggest to lock your framerate to your monitors refresh or use vsync. Taking advantage of the resolution scaling might help too

We need a auto slayer and precision slayer like in mcc

  1. Dedicated playlists for each gametype, or at the very least separate it into Slayer and Objective types. This is by far the biggest issue in the game. I cannot believe that they’re forcing players to play random gametypes. This is possibly the single most egregiously bad instance of design in Halo’s entiure history. Even moreso than Halo 5 basically being turned into a cover-shooter because all of the weapons were so ridiculously accurate.

  2. The AR and Sidekick are too effective for starting weapons. It’s not that they’re too powerful (though the Sidekick TTK is definitely too fast), it’s that they basically invalidate most other weapons in most situations because they fulfill such a wide range of functions. Tone down the AR’s long-range accuracy, and either reduce the Sidekick’s RoF or reduce its damage so it takes one or two more shots to drop a shield.

Weapon balance overall is questionable, but these two weapons being as good as they are is going to make it impossible to properly balance everything else, because the weapon sandbox is a dynamic system, and the properties of each weapon affect its matchup against every other weapon, and thus the entire sandbox.

  1. Melees and melee weapons have no consistency. Lunge ranges seem random, and hit detection is really inconsistent. I think this might, at least in part, be a latency issue. Which brings me to…

  2. Latency. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve been killed by someone shooting me in the back like 5 feet after I’ve rounded a corner and broken LoS.

  3. The motion tracker is basically useless. You can’t even see anyone on it until they’re practically right on top of you.

  4. This is more personal, but I really hate all of the mindless grenade spam. I think I’d prefer a 1-grenade start, and/or reduce the number of grenade pick-ups on the map. At least frags; the other grenade types are alright (though the spike is still basically useless). This encourages more skillful and thoughtful grenade use, rather than just mindlessly spamming grenades in the general direction of the enemy. Replace frags on the map with more equipment pick-ups - you can get enough frags off dead bodies, they don’t need to be on the map.

  5. The player outlines and highlights make it difficult to judge their shield status, and honestly makes it too easy to spot players across the map. The outline by itself is sufficient, there’s no need to tint the whole player because it compromises the player’s ability to judge shield status, which is hugely important in Halo. I also think you should be within a certain distance from a player (longer if you’re scoped in) before the outline appears. You already know where your teammates are, so if you see someone at a distance who isn’t flagged as a teammate, then they’re obviously an enemy.

I’m sure I could come up with some other issues if I wanted to nit-pick, but none of them are as detrimental to the game as the ones listed above.

I think I agree with all of these, idk if you saw but they’re working on adding more playlists. It was announced this morning.

Mostly QOL updates:

  • Keep Fireteam together in a Big Team Battle game
  • Ability to check Challenge status while in a game
  • “Perfect” notification in the in-game kill feed (i.e., a star)
  • Customization filtering options save after exiting the menu/game
  • Make radar usable
  • Grappleshot should NOT be able to grapple through barriers/walls
  • Splash damage should do NO damage through barriers or walls
  • More playlists
  • Ability to disable cross-play

For me I want aim assist, hit registration, and game stability fixed first and foremost. I can wait for everything else as long as the game is playable.

Edit: Also spawn points. This game has the worst spawn system in any Halo ever.

Additional to that:

  • More inertia while strafing

  • Fixing hit registration (especially melee)

  • Fixing the inconsistent aiming (sometimes it’s buggy → www.youtubeDOTcom/watch?v=sSMKdFUqg84 )

  • Slight reduce of the nade radius/damage

  • 343i pls add a radar playlist in ranked (while not removing the playlist without radar) , or at least add the sound of footsteps in ranked

  • Pls add the function for plasma pistol to EMP vehicles (remove that function from the electro weapons)

With all the the mentioned suggestons i’m sure the game will improve drastically for everyone.

i believe halo ce does, when i play it, i get back stabbed 4 times the second i respawn
