With the new req level changes war zone seems to be better. However they really REALLY need to add some sort of cool down timer between flips or at least after two flips or something.
It really makes sense if you think about it. Seeing how the wraiths have a cool down time for boosting and so do ghost so why not banshees when it comes to flips?

A better comparison is Spartans have a thruster evade cooldown, and phaetons have a translocation cooldown.

How ever you want to compare it. Either way banshees shouldn’t be able to spam flips constantly.
Yeah I agree, but I was just pointing out your poor comparisons.
Then the banshee would be useless it’s survivability was it’s ability to be fast and agile since its has no armor. That’s basically ruining the banshee and making it useless
“Oh if flipped? Team fire we have 4 seconds”
I agree. Fortunately there are not too many pro’s at this.
I think a cool down timer for flips is a good idea. They can be really frustrating to shoot down when the pilot is trying to impersonate a trapeze act.
It’s very funny to see some Banshee pilots keeping looping and flipping, mashing the flip button, that they can’t even fly in a straight line, looks like the banshee is glitching all over the place.

His comparison made more sense than yours.
It definitely needs a larger cooldown than the 0.4 second cooldown that it has. If in the right hands, a regular Banshee can do more damage than a Nornfang.
The flip should be slowed, the cooldown should be 5 seconds, and projectiles should not lose their tracking if a banshee flips (like how the hydra does it, but less aggressive).
I think the better solution would be to add more frames to the ending transition of the flip (near the time hen the banshee stops flipping) rather than to add something that would render it useless (e.g. a 5 second cooldown)
There needs to be a time frame of when to shoot the banshee, but it shouldn’t be so large to the point of the banshee being an outlier in terms of gameplay.

Basically this. Banshee fights could come down to “which team can be an opportunist and pull out the laser first?” if the cooldown was massively nerfed.
