Here is my idea for a type of equipment.
Team changer thingy

  • Switches your color to that of the enemy team
  • Lasts for 10 seconds
  • Appear the same for your team (prevents betrayal)
  • Only way to tell you are an enemy is if you look at your radar.

I like it. Reminds me of Carolina from RvB.
It has a cool function and has good counter-measures.
However if the enemy aims at you, would their reticle turn red to show you’re really an enemy?

While having Spartan Spies would be diabolical, This sounds like it would be far more usefull rolled into Hologram in my opinion.

Subterfuge is a constant part of Combat and imagine what you could do on Red team by Sending a Blue team Hologram into a room. It might let the guard down of the enemy allowing for a unexpected entry.

On it’s own, Look to the Spy for inspiration. You would always have to be on your guard, You never know when that ‘Teammate’ going ‘Hey, let me in the warthog seat’ is actually a diabolical spy, looking to jack a Hog. I would love a change to the battle field Dynamic like that.
