Now I see why less and less people are playing Arena.
I don’t see how this is fair, this will definitely ruin the experience to any new player.
Make matters worse, the was the 1st game played for 3 of those blue kids.

It happens. But also, calling people out is against forum rules, so I’d recommend unlinking the picture, blacking out everyone’s names and tags, then relinking it.
That seems really unlucky if it was real.
No one is being called out lol this is a open discussion about the ranking system.
It needs tweaking don’t you think? and yes @comedyshermit, this was real.

He isn’t calling them out, gamertags are not private, and do not need to be blurred. No different than all the gamertags you’ll see in the killfeed of any recorded gameplay footage.
Those poor Blues, they’ll have been diagnosed with PTSD should they play another shooter.
ur telling me u didn’t enjoy facing a full team of champions???
I don’t see how a match like this could have happened unless one of the unranked players was a champion and they were in a party with the other three or something.
Well… I’ve seen American players wait 5 hours for a Btb game because of a secret ranking system. Doesn’t surprise me

and that’s because all unranked playlists have hidden ranks.

Which is bs.
The point of un ranked, it to face randomly skilled people on both sides.
Those aren’t just mm champs those are legit halo pros and top ams. Thats a very unfortunate placement matchup.
edit. Those unranked guys could be high onyxs or even champs as well but when playing against those pros/top ams they were most likely gonna get stomped. The skill gap is just huge from mm champs to pros.
Omg. Those guys first match was not only against champions but also against a pro
Worst luck ever.
Something is broken here. Last season and seasons before I was high platinum low diamond. Now I’m low gold. But the gold player play like gold players still.

Which means you can end up in this exact same situation as OP’s picture, and would be encouraged because “no ranks” to define them.
I looked up the bottom guy and he is an onyx 1850+ so it was probably matching them accordingly, just the pros are that much better.
I feel like this calls for just a slight tweak to the way matchmaking works. Just maybe.

Definitely needs a tweak but I think this happens due to the population.
How much did they lose by, because if they didn’t lose by much, I’d think that would raise someone spirits. Back when I actually played Halo 5 with a consistent connection to the server, I would always get into games with champion lvl players and I would think, damn, I’m good. I tried so hard to get to that rank, then my connection started bugging out so I couldn’t even try anymore. Damn internet, and its crapness.
