I heard that we will not be able to replay campaign missions after the credits 343 Industries just loves screwing things up don’t they it means things like the bandana skull and acrophobia skull and other stuff like that will have no reason to be in the game I mean maybe this isn’t true but it’s 343 Industries do it wouldn’t shock me. If this is the case someone else needs creative control over Halo besides 343

This is the byproduct of the emphasis headed towards open-world level design. Considering so much bad news about this game that we have seen so far, I think it is highly likely that the inability to replay campaign missions will turn out to be true than otherwise.
To me the ability to replay missions is partially what made Halo as good as it is I don’t know why they would remove that feature

Well I wouldn’t be so worried about it if it wasn’t for the fact that Halo comes out this week but I really hope it’s not true if it is than someone other than 343 needs to take over control of Halo

Once the game releases we will know exactly what is in it and what it will be like. It sounds like a red flag for me too. Apparently there are some things we can level up the stats of like the grappling hook, so I can only assume that 343i has committed to making it like a long open world game. This is still speculation though I know there are lots of details available.
That’s not a joke. A lot of the game can be spoiled if you aren’t careful.
I don’t know what to expect. I’m not going to buy it at release. My time is going elsewhere though I do expect to buy it and play it at some point for sure.

I guess they could do something more like a game plus mode where you keep some of the stuff previous play through

Play Mission xy, select skull, select upgrades
Problem solved.
But ya i guess we’ll have to replay the whole campaign again and again. I planned 3 runs.
First for the 8 hour achievement (on easy or normal)
Second to collect everything (if it’s needed; easy again)

From what I understand it’s only the first two missions which are not on zeta Halo.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be the case, but 343 has stated they’re working on a way to implement it.

Really they should just look at ODST for replaying missions, or you go to your main base and load a “training module” that just let’s you replay missions. I do hope they add a new game plus mode what with this style of campaign.

Replaying missions should have been a feature at release and who know how long it will take them to figure it out

It’s confirmed as of yesterday when the review embargo got lifted. You cannot replay missions in the campaign without restarting the entire campaign. So if you’re hunting skulls or “armor” lockers, and you miss one, you’re SOL for the remainder of that campaign run.

They are working on making them replayable, the open world aspect is what made it so they couldn’t be replayable at launch.

You can replay it but you can’t select specific levels like previous Halo’s… Given the fact it is open world.
They also stated that they are working on this. This is just yet another rant post. I understand you are upset but they’ve mentioned and covered how it’s in the works

What I’m saying is this should have been in the game at release if Bungie had made Halo Infinite it would have been but they screwed up and handed rights over to 343 industries also from what I have seen 343 made the Plasma Pistol suck

It definitely sucks it doesn’t even have an EMP feature anymore either and it’s charge is ridiculously slow but there’s a new weapon for the noob combo it’s the pulse carbine you don’t even need another weapon you can straight up kill people with that if it hits them with all three bursts
