In little over a week from now, we will see the release of Halo Wars 2, after nearly 10 years, and we get to see the old are style clash with new concepts. Now I think its time another one of Halo’s spin-off titles saw a part 2, now yes I know in terms of sales ODST was not as big as previous Halo’s(including Halo Wars) but it was still a fun little open side game that took us out of the eyes of a Spartan and put us in the boots of a human. It also introduced Firefight and brought a new Covenant enemy in the form of the Engineer’s which were previously only seen in Halo Wars, or mods of Halo CE. I would love to see a ODST sequel set either during the aftermath of Halo 3 or set in the current time, between Halo 5 and 6. It would be the perfect way to bring back classic Firefight and could even add new enemies and bosses to the sandbox. Image Elites being enemies and you having to kill them off on top of Brutes, Engineers and other Covenant forces. Now image, that the Promethean’s or even the Flood could be added to the mix, and maybe the Engineers could be redesigned to allow them to hell Covenant/Banished enemies, much like the Watchers of the Promethean’s.
I dont know if 343 is interested in making another ODST. They would need to render that horrible book, New Bloods, non-cannon, because it destroyed the squad.

Thing is though, they don’t really have to go by that book, they could create a new team entirely. Heck, maybe having a team of ODST’s investigating the Ark, before the events of Halo Wars two, and the first introduction of the Banished. I just feel that, it was definately a game, that many (my self included would love to see) especially if we would see a return of a more robust version of ODST’s FireFight mode, maybe even have different objectives in it this time around that we can choose or disable. We need to start straying away from remasters and we need some form of Halo spin-off title that isn’t a top down shooter, rts or remake. And if this would happen we would finally get our first FPS spin-off Halo game from 343, one that would not be rehashes of the old.

Doesn’t have to be chronological. ODST 2 could be about the group before Rookie joined and before the New Mombassa incident. Would be sweet to play as Alpha Nine in their younger days.
Or just a different squad altogether. Get another geeky dreamteam together. How about some actors from the 2004 Battlestar Galactica? Color me $60 lighter.
They should make a odst 2
I would play it
Iv nearly Got all the achievements in ODST and really love the game i grind it so hard that i needed to buy a new disk i really hope the 343 is interested in ODST 2
I wouldn’t mind seeing a whole new ODST team…Once they make a new squad, they can take the Halo lore even further! (More stories, more books, more armor…etc.)
as much as i like odst i dont think that another is necessary, 343 have bigger priorities such as h6

True, but 343 has a tendency to release spin-off Halo titles in-between each main Halo title release. I just don’t want another remaster or top down esq. shooter. I want a actual fps Halo spinoff that is not remakes of the previous Halo’s, and a ODST part 2 fits that perfectly.
I think playing as an ODST was fun and would like to see more action in their fieldwork not to mention using silenced weapons again (I know you can get them in halo 5 but it doesn’t really work when you use silenced weapons and everyone else uses other weapons like the Fuel Rod).
A prequel to ODST would be sick too.
ODST2

I would LOVE an ODST 2, but not anytime soon. Let’s let 343i complete the trilogy and hopefully fix what problems everything has, and then start looking at what’s next.
