I’m sorry. I don’t know what I just heard exactly, but something happens on the 20th of November? He (younger brothers friend) says people who are passed the rank of SR50 will get an exclusive armor, or something. Has this just been announced?
I’m level 47, but at a job where I work all day
You can see I’m very sweaty atm…
Its for the rest of Specializations u get
Can you explain it, please?
I see it as, once you hit lvl 50, you advance into a specialization, thus unlocking an armor set. But if you are lvl 50 before the 20th…more armor?
You are close. Do you see when you click on Specializations in the Spartan Hub in game pause outside of a game that there is only Wetworks and Operator? If you <mark>PLAYED HALO 4 <strong>YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE SR-50!!</strong></mark>before or on the 20th of this month midnight is deadline I think, you will receive a code via the email that your account is linked to that unlocks the REST of the Specializations that would be found in that menu.
Hope this helped!
Edit: Also, your question about armor. Yes, Specializations unlock you certain Armor sets. However, to be able to USE said armor, you have to rank up the ten specific levels of your given Specialization.
For example, let’s say you choose Pioneer one of the later ones first I actually chose Operator after hitting SR-50.
SR-51 = Pioneer-1
The chest of the Pathfinder set this is not true, just an example is unlocked at Pioneer-7, which equals out to SR-57. The helmet and shoulders are unlocked on separate Pioneer ranks. For example, the helmet could be unlocked for use on Pioneer-4, and the shoulders on Pathfinder-6.
Visor and armor mods Pioneer is the EXP booster is available on SR-60/Pioneer-10.
In short, you DO get more armor, just not right off.
Each specialization has its own set of armor. On november 20th all the non-limited edition owners who played online before or on the 20th will have access to the other 6 specializations. You don’t need to be SR50 just play before november 20th and you will have access to them.

If you hit 50 before the 20th, you only have access to 2 of the 8 specializations, Wetwork, and Operator. If you have played a standard edition copy online before the 20th, then you will be emailed a code to gain access to the remaining 6 specializations, thus granting access to additional armour sets beside the 2. It’s not direct access to additional armour, just more choice than previously available.

Oh…
See, I bought the LE, so I can already see the other Specializations (or atleast what’s allowed). Thanks for the clarification!
Which email is it? The MSN/Xbox Live account that is used with my GT or do i have to actually be signed up with the Microsoft site in order to receive emails for the Specializations? I didn’t exactly get the puzzle pieces for the cover art nor any of that Ancient Evil ARG stuff. So i am bit confused and i don’t want to miss out on the 20th.

No problem. If you have more questions, I edited my last post with a more in depth example.

I believe it’s the email that is currently used with your GT. Seeings how Halo Waypoint runs using your GT as a profile, my guess is it’s whatever email you have set up for this site *which is the same as the one linked with your GT. Perhaps you should check spam? I found a LOT of Microsoft team emails there.
I also was wondering this. Do you have to be lvl50 for the email to be sent? I am lvl 37 and I doubt I can make it to 50 by Tuesday.

I thought it was this.
I’m glad your question was answered quickly and accurately, but I don’t see why you couldn’t have just done a few quick Google searches instead of taking the kid’s word for it.

Edit: I was wrong. You do NOT have to be SR-50 to receive the code! You just have to have PLAYED by the 20th.
Sorry guys, my bad! Edited my first answer post.
Here is the fine print.
You must play before midnight EST on the 20th of november. Starting on the 21st emails will begin being sent out. It could take as long as ten days to get your code by no later than the 30th. And with they way things are going, i wouldnt be the least bit surprised if you have to wait even longer. I was furious when i heard this, and lucked out after calling all over the place to find a LE.
Ah thanks, i’ll check the spam. Just three more days to go, almost SR-50 myself :P.

Not from what I understand. I think anyone who plays the SE before the 20th will get an email…at least that’s how I hope it is anyway.

Heaven forbid people use the forums to discuss things.
Okay, so we will receive this info in our “email”. Just making sure, but is this referring to the email we have linked with our xboxlive accounts? I know the only stupid questions are the ones that don’t get asked, but I still felt a little dumb asking this… I just want to make sure I get the code.

Yessir. As long as your info is current, there should not be any problems.

That’s not a stupid question, a stupid question would be to repeat what the OP asked without reading the rest of the thread first, lol in no way am I implying the OP’s question is dumb, but ignoring the rest of the thread and asking the same thing is.
To answer your question, yes, the email is going to the account that is CURRENTLY linked to your GT, and it should be available some time after the 20th. The codes won’t start being sent until the 21st, and could take as long as the 30th.
Hope this helped.
