20 years of celebrating Halo in all its glory but will infinite release on that day. Personally if they had to keep it back to work on it some more im all about it. Hey ya never know imagine they’ll release Halo 3 anniversary who knows. I would like for infinite not to be rushed. We all know the story about halo being rushed in past games and with last years 2020 gameplay revealed it was lack luster. Hell id be ever happy if they released halo wars 3 on NOV 15th or even ODST 2

The delay was understandable considering the pandemic/lockdowns etc. Also yes it would be great for Infinite to drop on or around the 15th of November.
I don’t think we’ll get a H3 Anniversary. But I think it would be cool to get a Halo 3 content drop in Infinite. Like Halo 3 specific armor cores, and remastered H3 maps for Infinite multiplayer.
i dunno if they want to release so close to BF2042 tbh. also isn’t forza coming out then as well so id be surprised if it came out in november.
If i had to guess, which is all you can do right now anyway, id say december 2nd or 8th , give or take afew weeks b4 xmas.

I wish it was coming out in September but it won’t. It would be cool if it came out late October but its unlikely. Everything tells me it will come out early November. The thought of it coming out just a few weeks before Christmas, long after the vast majority of holiday shopping is over, doesn’t seem likely to me. Also I’d hate that and I don’t like you for putting that out into the universe. In my selfish head-cannon release schedule we get another flight early next month, then the beta early October, then release in November; so I don’t have to go that long without playing the game more.
The one drawback with releasing Infinite on CE’s 20th anniversary, is that the hype for Infinite would likely overshadow anything they had planned.
There’s also the potential for some negative Day One DLC feedback if they were to, let’s say, release an armour pack of all the Chief sets, which most games having past armours at launch anyway, and fans would expect.
Personally, I think it would be great if they recreated the CE cutscenes in the Slipspace engine, as a free DLC for MCC on November 15, then launch Infinite a week or two later. This would draw fans back to play through the original game before Infinite rolls out, which would add to its hype, rather then distract.

hey man i hope im wrong, id like it sooner 2. but i can’t see any dev being happy to release there fps in the same month of BF2042 tbh. Even if its b4 the fact. Also keep in mind that halo infinite mp is ftp. so if you release a week b4 BF then BF comes out and everyone feels no issues dropping infinite that they paid nothing for to go and play BF.
They also still have more flights to get though, and pc version needs alot of performance fixes b4 release.
