About the nova bomb explosion at the covenant colony of glyke how many do yo think actually perished and what was the sangheili reaction in general?,also why was grey team haunted by this when they witness years of genocidal campaigns by the covenant and i will think they would want a little payback,if it was any other team do you think they would’ve feel the same?
I think I remember reading that billions were killed, but I’ll have to check later.
The Sangheili wouldn’t have been happy about it obviously, especially since it happened after their truce with humanity. It’s for the same reason that it affected Gray team so much. You would feel guilty killing a few billion people, most of them civilians, no matter the circumstances.

So we can assume that covenant casualties during the war were closer that we previously thought to humanity’s 23 billion.still i don’t think covenant civilians really care for all the billions humanity was loosing because they were brainwashed by the leadership to think of us as parasites,so i don’t think that one of theirs for the already dozens that they had glassed of ours would really hang around the conscious of most humans at that time.

I wasn’t saying all humans would be bothered at all, only Gray team because they personally destroyed Glyke. Even Spartans would have some form of guilt over that.
The majority of the Sangheili population didnt know that is was the UNSC who destroyred Glyke,so I dont think they are so pissed.

Thel knew it,as he offered them a formal pardon.
But the majority of the Sangheilis including the swords dont know it anf believe that the brutes blow up Glyke and if I need to guess why its keepen a secret ,to prevent another war withinh humanity
