Notifications when 343 wants new community maps?

Does 343 make a post or something when they’re looking for new forge community maps to stuff into matchmaking and if they do where do they put the notification? I’m asking this because a new community slayer playlist just rolled out and I never knew 343 wanted maps in the first place.

I may be wrong here but I don’t remember 343 notifying us that they were looking for maps for a new playlist (community slayer playlist). I still check ForgeHub daily to see the awesome new maps people post and I didn’t see an article mentioning this playlist.

Not wrong at all.
OceanBoy03 you just need to immerse yourself in the Forge community more. If you are a Forger, your maps should be on these all of these platforms in order for them to be seen, played and improved upon enough for recognition, etc., such that a map or mode could make its way into the hands of 343. There’s not really a “Hey we’re looking for maps” thing with 343. They did do it recently for Wasp race maps, though; that was over a year ago and pretty niche anyway.

There are map submission threads in community creations and they tend to ask for things specifically via the community updates. There are also a couple of specific forging communities that 343 have reached out to in the past.
