So as you all know, Halo 5 is going to be a big boy now. One year old, and it looks like 343 is!.. Doing nothing… It would be the perfect time to release a new DLC, but they aren’t. I think this is a little weird, considering Halo 5 is supposed to get 2 more DLC’s. What do you guys think?

I think people tend to have extremely high expectations for seemingly meaningless events, particularly 2 days early.
This is even dumber than the Falcon meltdown before the Memories of Reach update. There is literally nothing to expect.
We don’t need to celebrate a game being released for a year. Hell, we don’t need to really celebrate it for any year that doesn’t end in a five or zero.

I am glad I have something. I think about how lucky I am to afford video games. Some people can’t. I’m only saying I think it’s weird.

I think it’s strange that people expect something for the one year anniversary of the release. Not because they convey a feeling of entitlement, but because of the bare-bones incomplete game that H5 was at “launch”.
IMO, the most fitting thing 343 could do for this anniversary would be a single emblem and new micro transactions, or maybe just nothing at all. What better way to celebrate the atrophied frame that arrived one year ago!? Yay!
