If it errors you generally have to wait a few minutes and they will show in your collection. If you are complaining because you didnt get what you want, buy more silver packs to cut down on the other things.
I had nearly the same issue right now. It said something like “there is an issue with your req-pack, you buyd it but you can´t open it. Go to open packs and try again.” I tried it but the issue came back. So I restarted Halo5 but the Req-Pack was gone. 
Don’t worry folks - this issue just means that you skipped over the opening animation of the REQ pack, the items still get added to your REQ inventory. You can hard reset your console or check your inventory here on Waypoint. If you keep track of what you have you should be able to see what’s different / been added, hopefully they will add indicators for newly added items. That would be super useful, or maybe an overview of what your last pack contained
I’ve had times where I bought a silver pack, and it eventually ended up in my pile of unopened REQ packs. Either that, or you opened it and you didn’t get to see what was in it.

Okay thank you. I´m happy to hear that, but I can´t see what I should have unlocked.

I’m more concerned how it seems that the lag of receiving RP or rank up/victory req packs after a match is so great that they usually wont even show up until you play another match.
I imagine 343i is aware of this issue?

Just back out to menu and it will appear.
Dear 343 this has happened to me 5 times now, I watch my reqs VERY closely and even after hard resetting nothing new unlocks, I’ve waited and still nothing, 50,000 req points down the drain, very disappointing. Would very much like some kind of compensation as this is EXTREMELY frustrating and annoying as I put so much time and money into your game/franchise
