In b4, but YOU GET ACHIEVEMENTS!

Fake internet points that’s all that really matters here
Achievements meant something back on Xbox 360. Now they are worthless. I can get 10K GS just for watching movies through various apps.

You wouldn’t catch me dead with avatar the last airbender on my card.
Though you would find fast and furious on it so… hypocrisy much?
I hope when they add more armor they make something a reward for this.

BTW just wondering, I was looking through your achievement list, because I’m a stalker, but you didn’t have any achievements for any halo games besides MCC and Halo 5, is this your second account or something? Or you don’t have to tell me, that’s cool.

But my fake solider dress up gear? :’(
Why did you do all those things? Bragging rights? A set of armour? Personal satisfaction?
What is it you would like?
That’s why I stopped playing Halo 5 for a bit and came back to Halo: MCC. Halo 5, I already almost have half the achievements! 31/65 and got those in one weekend. Halo: MCC are harder to get for achievements. I wish 343 put some thought into Halo 5’s achievements. You get barely any for multiplayer.

That’s so true, it’s a shame GS means nothing now
Your reward is no life. Enjoy.

My gamertag was hacked a while ago and as a result they reset my 360 Gamerscore. All my achievements for previous Halo games are still represented on Waypoint though.

That’s rough, I would definitely be pissed about that.

Personal satisfaction mostly. A sense of completion. Still though, perhaps I’ve just been spoiled from previous games, but I expected at least something. I mean in Halo 3 we got Marathon for all terminals, Hayabusa for all skulls, Recon for all Vidmasters, and I forget what else. Even Reach and Halo 4 rewarded multiplayer armor/emblems for the campaigns.
Why do people need something for completing a game that is extra? I remember when we used to just play games because they were you know fun and the accomplishment for completing a game 100% or whatever was satisfaction enough knowing you managed to 100% the game we didn’t need any sort of reward why do people feel the need for them now??

I was for a time, and I tried to fight it, I originally had over 100k GS, but as I said previously, Gamerscore is pretty much worthless now so I just let it go. Not that it had a “worth” to begin with, but the sense of accomplishment is gone.

Because it’s just one more thing to add to the list of things 343 has taken out of Halo.

Yeah, although frankly I find it difficult to keep playing games without some kind of goal at the end every since I started going after achievements. The only reason I still go after them is because me and my friends have a little competition amongst ourselves to see who can get the most gamerscore since we’re in university in various places across the country and have polar opposite schedules most of the time.

I feel like if there was a reward you could only get by doing that then it would force people who don’t want to do it to be miserable trying to complete it. A lot of people don’t even have the skill to finish legendary. This way only the people would really want that personal satisfaction of getting all achievements will do it. Still I’d say it would be fair to reward a certain amount of req points and/or exp for each achievement (scaling with difficulty).
