Nothing but the absolute TRUTH has been spoken in this video!
Halo purists really need to stop complaining about something they haven’t even played yet.
“I don’t need to play it to know it’s going to suck!”
Um, yeah, you kinda do dude. If you play it and you still hate it, then that’s your opinion.
But if you’re going to sit there and just watch ONE multiplayer video and would rather have a negative attitude about it and post a paragraph ranting and raving about the minor changes while knocking back another mountain dew then think about it constructively; then I’m left with the opinion that your a raging -Yoink-. No if, and, or buts about it.

Just one multiplayer video? How about that one hour long compilation YouTube video showcasing the multiplayer gameplay of Halo 5?

EDIT: It’s hilarious how GreenSkull/RUL claims that Halo isn’t being milked when Bungie wanted Halo to end with its sequel (post Combat Evolved), and now we’re getting Halo titles on mobile devices. Halo is being milked to hell and back. To say that Halo isn’t being milked is the most hilariously ridiculous notion I don’t even have an analogy to describe how ridiculous it is.

You absolutely can tell you won’t like a game from objectively analyzing footage; the same way you can tell if you will like it by watching a gameplay trailer. Please stop marginalizing criticism - that doesn’t help anyone.

Um, no, I actually do not have to, “dude”. So far, the only thing that I think should be removed is Sprint, but that is not going to happen. However, is still does not mean that Sprint is permanent in the series.

I don’t necessarily agree with the premise of that argument, but I do think that’s an amazing and overlooked comparison.

> minor changes

Define minor. There are a ton of mechanics that change how the game itself plays. Whether that’s good or bad is all up to debate, but I would say they are pretty significant changes.

Maybe a better question for me to ask is “what would be an example of a major change”?

Funny, how things like “wait till you play the beta” only apply to negative comments…

I don’t need to play it to criticize aspects of Halo 5. Predicting outcomes based on past experiences is kind of big part of having a problem solving brain.

I predict with a high degree of certainty that sprint will still be bad, based on 4 years of precedent and my working eyeballs looking at how hilariously inflated midship is and watching footage of players escaping and heavily delaying kills. I fundamentally dislike clamber because it takes away control from the player, for however short a time it may be and it will inevitably distort maps by making clamber only jumps. I have working eyes and ears and it is obvious how cluttered the game is from both a visual and especially audio perspective. There are a plethora of complaints that are justified without playing a single game of Halo 5.

As for the video, I remember greenskull’s Halo 4 videos and how much he ‘loved’ many of the new aspects of that game. I’m not saying he was paid, off or anything, I just don’t give his opinion much weight. “Stop all the negativity” As if there have been no legitimate reasons to have a negative outlook other than, I dunno, the last 4 years of Halo…

Its ridiculous how he criticizes the community for “complaining about little things”. Why shouldn’t they? Individually ‘minor’ things may not amount to much, but a bunch of minor issues still drag down the experience.

Oh and more “its a real beta” cheer-leading. Don’t misunderstand, Its not that I don’t appreciate a proper beta, but I will be stunned if anything significant was removed. The Beta will be all about ‘balancing’ Halo 5 mechanics, not the direction of the game itself, that ship sailed once the game was revealed. I’d love to wrong of course, but, its unlikely.

So, with that logic because a developer wants to stop making Halo and if Halo explores other genre of gameplay…then it’s being milked. I find your argument/reasoning so ridiculous I don’t even have an analogy to describe how ridiculous it is.

Because not criticizing a game before we played it worked so well for halo 4. Better safe than sorry.

Because you know, we pass laws before debating them

Not to name drop or anything but have you seen Assassins Creed or Call of duty they put out new games every year AC just put out 2 on the same day.

LOL my thoughts exactly. If you can’t criticize before the beta, you shouldn’t be allowed to say anything good about it or what 343i’s doing either.
These threads (I’m convinced now) are made by people sore at the fact that peoples opinions differ. If you don’t think this game looks good, and if you haven’t already decided you’ll like it, I have a hard time believing you’d be posting threads like this.

Nah. What is hilarious is people bending events to their favor. By Bungie leaving halo it does not in anyway shape or form mean that they wanted halo to be done. In fact I think the official statement to the public was something along the lines of them wanting to be done making halo games. Milking is also a straw man argument when people have nothing else to say. Milking is used by people who want to slander a company or person because they don’t enjoy the new product. If you don’t enjoy it then just say so. The whole “keeping things pure and true to what they are” kind of arguments are full of bull. Things change. The world revolves around change. In the real world companies are supposed to make money. Companies will continue to sell things that make them money because that’s a good decision. No one is forcing you to buy the new products. And by the company changing aspects about the product it doesn’t some how “tarnish” or “ruin” the products name.
