All i’m hearing from people, both random people on the internet, and friends who are huge fanboys of the series, is that Black Ops 2 sucks and the servers are still having connection issues since launch. One friend of mine is trading in their copy for Halo 4. The problems with Black Ops 2 are far more severe than anything Halo 4 has right now.
If you thought Black Ops 2 was going to take away all of Halo 4’s playerbase, you need not worry about that happening.
Who cares about BLOPS 2? Halo is still far more of a competitive game and a great FPS.
The only issue is that 343 has changed Multiplayer in a way to be less competitive of a game. Hopefully they have learned there lesson about Multiplayer and will continue on updating and changing it.
I’m agreeing with the OP, we have a mate just joined our party and he said he didn’t like much some of the new features in the new cod, I think in a few weeks people will probably go and buy there copies of halo 4 back because they reliesed what a massive mistake they made to sell it and halo 4 will be in with a chance to become the game of xbox live
> You know an FPS is bad when you share the userbase with COD.
Umm, no. Call of Duty is simply the shooter mainstream, as Halo once was, and a lot of people branch out into other games from there, which is the reason that CoD gained such a large fanbase in the first place, as players discovered other shooters after entering the genre with Halo.

Not really, most people “enter the genre” with CoD itself.

That hasn’t always been the case - Halo used to be THE game on Xbox. Many people, myself included, started Xbox Live with Halo a number of years ago.
