I don’t think this has been the best anniversary for Halo 5. I didn’t feel like the double XP for all playlists wasn’t very rewarding at all, I didn’t get a Greatest Hits Customization REQ Pack during the weekend, for some reason, they gave me 2 packs on Thursday (which isn’t part of the weekend).
We should have gotten a Customization REQ Pack every day, not just one day. Looks like 343i have not learned from their mistakes.

I will never understand the kind of person who gets something for free and then demands more. It says a lot more about the person making the demands than those who gave you that gift.
It’s plenty to celebrate a relatively obscure anniversary. “3rd anniversary” isn’t generally something that makes headlines. Most games don’t even have any sort of acknowledgement in-game. 343i gave out something cool for players who don’t have certain armor pieces and gave extra XP, both of which are extra compared to the norm. Nothing to complain about here. Pretty cool on 343i’s part to do this.
Sorry but I don’t think you are looking at it the right way. I am very grateful that I got some thing for free from a game that is three years old. What other developer gives things to the people that have purchased their product after three years. 343 has shown that they still care for the players.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels this way. Double XP weekend on all playlists is great, but I would have been just fine without it. The game is three years old, and we’re still enjoying it. That is relatively rare in this era for online based games (outside MMOs), isn’t this reason enough to be happy?

This is good advice… I have been online gaming since 2003, and while I don’t have a huge video game library as I do stick mostly to just Halo, I can’t think of ever getting anything from any developer on a 3rd birthday or anniversary of a game release. So its kinda cool they are doing something at least.
Just be glad you got anything at all. A third anniversary isn’t exactly headline news.
Be graceful with what you got, 343 can’t just give you everything on a plate

Fiver = £5
Tenner = £10
They didn’t have to give us anything, I was completely happy having the double xp. Already had the greatest hits pack unlockedX but I appreciated at least getting some legendary xp boosts.
I got two greatest hits packs, both loaded with legendary arena boosts. Plus double exp in anything i want all weekend? THATS HUGE, and im very greatfull for the exp they let me obtain. And i know others feel the same, right now many are grinding for 152, and others have hit it yesterday.
I played a lot of warzone last weekend, maybe like 15 hours+ idk I lost track of time.
But I had lots of fun
I’m happy with what I got, but you can’t always get things for free, you gotta work for it.

I got two on Thursday but I didn’t notice much xp in the other playlists as the infection but after Sunday, today Monday which is still October there isn’t xp gains much. They should if kept it till Wednesday for double xp

Over the weekend was fine IMO. It’s just a third birthday… I know the XP grind is long and tidious and I don’t even plan on making 152. But I am glad it’s long. I like that there is some sort of long term goal available. It was such a joke at how quickly you could max out H4.

But I feel like hey should of made it 200 for how much xp is needed from 150 to 152 lol 1-150 is half of 150-152 kinda seemed last minute and quick decision I just hope halo 6 has ranks not numbers and xp

Yeah a more evenly spread out ranks of XP would have been nice. But I would rather have you skill based rank an actual word rank and the xp “rank”, which should be called level and not rank, is good as just a number. Your XP “rank” isn’t really earned it’s grinded for. Much more rewarding having skill based ranks actual ranks.
