So i’ve gotten on Halo 4 and Black Ops II recently and on their opening days i noticed Black Ops II, and Halo 4 only getting about 500,000 players max. While this is a lot, it’s very surprising that both games break record attendance, yet don’t live up to the hype whenever it comes down to online population. Why is this? My friend says a lot of people are moving onto PC gaming and i don’t think that’s true; He’s probably just on KOTOR forums all the time… maybe FPS shooters are getting over saturated?
Not everyone has Xbox LIVE for their games.
Maybe everyone’s playing UNO?
Whilst it may seem to be the case figures suggest otherwise,
Major Nelson tweeted this yesterday -
'Last week on #XboxLIVE members spent more time on Xbox LIVE than any other week in the history of our service: A total of 442 million hours.
Pretty impressive, Right?
both games released on the weekday dude, halo 4 had an entire 4 mil players last weekend
it might get split a little for both games this weekend
but liek I said, we wont see the true players till weekend.
