I’m not sure if Humans are really good or Covenant are really bad. If you look a the battle of Reach or any major battle, the covenant out number the humans greatly but they still have trouble winning and in some cases cough cough ark cough cough lose. How?

Reach… was still a slaughter. The ONLY thing that help the humans in that battle was the super mac guns in orbit. Once they fell everything went down hill.
Regarding the “ark” battle… There was really only 1 human ship their with multiple elite allied ships… so not really a comparison case.
The humans typically needed a 3-1 ratio to make the fights EVEN.
In terms of the ground forces… Spartans are spartans.
