Not So Serious Training

As a preface: I’ve been playing Halo for over 16 years. I got an xbox with CE and 2 when I was 10 years old. I’m mostly a lore enthusiast, I do well when I’m not running against teams, and I encourage fun over work when playing.

That being said, I’d like to be better at it. I’m hoping we can form a group of dudes (this includes everyone not just males) that train maps and have fun in the process. Teabagging encouraged but also bring the mentality that you’re willing to teach and learn. I’m not trying to attract try hards who behave like their home was lost in a fire when their teammates are struggling or they lost a match.

If you’re a great teacher or like minded in the pursuit of learning, comment down below. Maybe we can do something great.

I’m interested, I’m not a great teacher but I know a few tips and tricks for Halo

Awesome, which game/maps do you feel you know best? Maybe we could have mentors for each game now that I think about it.

Map wise, I would say I know chiron decently well from a custom gametype me and a friend made that helps you get you’re sensitivity and look acceleration to 10 basically across the board aka Discount Doom, for the maps probably avalanche and last resort are my most familiar same with blood gulch, gametype wise though for matchmaking I used to play infection most of the time for H2A and H3 until save one bullet seemed heavily weighed for H3, BtB is another one I’m familiar with. Reach and H4 might be the ones I’m most familiar with and maybe H3 for the most part

I’d like to be a part of this, for Reach only though.

I do personal training for members of my clan GNGC. I usually host group training on Saturday evenings. You should now my skill level caps at Diamond 5. However, I know a bit about the Competitive side of Halo and has invested my own time into the game. I should note my clan doesn’t just play Halo. and regarding to Halo we’re taking a break from Halo 5 and are using Halo MCC for the time being. If your interested in our group I can send you a discord invite to our clan and you can check us out. Just PM me if your interested.
