Not signed in as myself?

I signed onto halo waypoint on my computer some time ago and recently signed back in. I clicked the sign in button in the top right expecting to be prompted to enter my gamertag and password or something but instead it automatically signed me in with a username that I didn’t create and it shows no stats or anything that I’ve done on halo. No one else has signed in on my computer, I know that for a fact and I can’t figure out how to sign out and then sign back into another account because every time I click sign in it automatically signs me in to this account.

Please advise.

OK, here’s what’s happening: someone on your computer signed in with a Microsoft account, likely to check their email. Because their information was remembered, when you clicked “Sign In” on the Waypoint site, it used their information to create a Gamertag tied to it. This Gamertag is “CursiveSquash66”. In order to fix the problem, simply sign in as “CursiveSquash66” and click “Sign Out” in the top-right, to the right of the Gamertag, and put in your information. If that doesn’t work, delete your browser cookies, cache, and temporary files, and then try again. ;D

I appreciate the response!

I tried signing out and deleting all cookies/temporary history etc but it still signed me back in as CursiveSquash66. Could this possibly be tied to a Microsoft Outlook email account?

It could be. Try signing in on xbox.com to see if you can access the account. From there, you can find out which email is attached to it. See if you recognize it.

EDIT: That account has Gamerscore. I think that someone signed in to play Majong, as you’ll see here.

Got it! Signing out of the account on xbox.com and back into my own worked.

Much appreciated! Thank you!

Glad to hear you figured it out!
