The last two games of CTF I played, I had players on my team purposely not score when they had the flag next to ours. The first time it happened we were dominating the game, up 2-0. My teammate refused to score for the final point. I just assumed he thought he was under attack, or least maybe some was near to him, even though no one was close to him. So I didn’t think to much of it.
In the next game I played though it happened again. First when we were down 0-1 with a chance to tie, I watched my player not score when he had the chance. Once again I assumed he thought he was under attack. It wasn’t until he did it again that I knew he was purposely not scoring. We were down 2-0 I had just returned our flag. During this time the player with our flag was waiting in our base for the flag to return. I was able to make it all the way back to our base and he still didn’t score. I died and respawned during this time too. I then watched him stand there and refuse to score the point.
What is the purpose of this? There aren’t any commendations for kills with the flag. This was very frustrating.
