Is anyone else not receiving credit for a boss kill? I could be literally unloading a machine gun from a warthog or the blaster from a Banshee as the killing blow of a boss (either normal or legendary) and not receive the Medal. This is extremely aggravating when I would like to continue to progress on the Boss Kill Challenge but its very difficult when I’m not getting credit for a kill I clearly contributed to. I’m not just talking about I shoot right at the end but I could alive the entire time shooting at the boss and doing considerable damage and still not receive the medal.
I don’t understand why. It is a bug or do you have to inflict a certain damage value to receive credit?

You only get the medal if you were the one who brought the boss hp to zero or less with your weapon.
If you brought the boss down from 1000hp to 1hp and someone else got that last hit in, they’ll get the medal, not you.
Correct me if I’m wrong people.
The boss system is just really weird, sometimes you can do like all the damage to a boss and not get a kill 
I’ve had so many instances where I’ve gotten the kill shot and not gotten any credit. I’ve also had a few where I never touched the boss and gotten credit. The whole system is screwed.
