Not Ranking Up Anymore In Matchmaking!?!?

Was playing and everything was goin smoothly with my double xp and everything until i reached level 24. It was at this point i got a message saying “rank limit reached.” Then over the course of a few hours i notice im not gaining any experience from the matches ive been playing. i checked my connection and its fine. not causing any lag and nat is open. so i sign out of xbox live and right back in then boot up the game and still no experience after matches. then i completely restart my xbox and try booting the game up and playing another match and it works…for 3 matches then it goes right back to no experience being gained. im currently rank 27 and cant go any further. ive asked my friends if there ranking up after matches and they say everythings fine and they are having no problems. most of them also have no double xp codes active on the dewxp.com website. so i dont kno if the dewxp website has a problem that is interfering with my multiplayer progression or if its the servers or something. but i hope u take a look into this and find the issue because this is very irritating and i just wanna play this awesome game. u guys have done a great job and i understand its been out for only a few days and there are gonna be issues but its just frustrating. i paid alot for my game so im hoping this gets takin care of soon.

Same thing happend to me. They have a xp cap… mine sropped at sr 24. It will reset at 5 am my time witch is cental time

i hit sr 20 and got no achievement for it

Well it happened to me at sr29, and it also said xp limit reached, then i waited till 12:01am… it allowed me to play about 3 more games and i got my xp… now im sr31, wont rank up anymore, and does NOT say xp limit reached.
also i dont have the xp double thing i just found out about that from my friend
i get about 5590xp a game or 4k if you know whats up with this please tell me my gamer tag is OwN4Ge117 and yes im a girl(:

XP cap? Just don’t play it so much, there. problem solved :slight_smile:

There is a daily cap. From my experience it is from 100-150 xp a day. I am currently stopped at sr-31 and just waiting to see at what time it allows you to get xp.

Same here. I got capped at 26. So does this mean we lost all the XP we gained during our XP blackout? I might have ranked up another 5 levels if I didn’t get capped.

What’s the point of the cap? all you are doing is telling us not to play your game… You send us to the corner for timeout because we played to much???

I hit the limit at SR 24 and again at SR 32. It releases at about 5 A.M. Central time.

All of you are hitting the cap. If you have double xp matches banked, STOP playing. There is a bug that eats your matches. I know it sucks, but you dont want to lose your matches. There are ALOT of little bugs and minor, and some major problems with the game right now, but i guess this is what happens when you spend two and half years on your campaign and six months on matchmaking, no public beta. This game has potential to be great, but i fear the longer it takes to be fixed or even addressed that you are trying to fix it, will cause some folks to walk away from the franchise.

I mean, you made us believe that grifball was a launch playlist. Where is it? The JIP is exactly that! I want to only search for full matches. I would rather be down a man or fighting an entire team by myself than JIP it. This is one feature that could disappear.

Why havent they been beefin up the servers? You saw reachs lag problems with just under 100,000, so when you saw, 350,000 preorders back in june, why didnt you start taking up floors of office space and putting servers in, ohh, because you were too busy working on campaign. You people (343) had to sweating as that number rose knowing you didnt have close to the capacity to handle one million plus people online.

Some of you seem to having huge issues, thats because your HDD has been fried, meaning its corrupted and will not recover. Your xbox couldnt handle the 8gig disc two.

Now, there are some complaints that are just that. If you have the LE edition, YOU HAVE TO GET SR50 BEFORE YOU WILL SEE THEM! FOR THE LAST TIME! God, some of you just dont get that.

I am fortunate enough not to experience any of the problems other than DLC account locked content, annoying but easy to get over, probably going to be a little harder for my wife to handle when she cant play the new maps when they come out. I can tell you right now, we wont be buying another map pass. Most of what i have just said are observations that need to fixed or addressed without delay.

I dont have xbox lIve so I’ve just been playIng offlIne wIth frIends or buIldIng In Forge. Yesterday around thInk It was 8pm I know It stoped gIvIng xp. I just dId a match stIll nothIng and Its lIke 1am. Why am I not getIng xp anymore and when the hell wIll I? Or how do I fIx It? Only SR9, -Yoink!- me off to be 600xp away from goIng up really sappIng some of the fun from an otherwIse amazIng game.

Hey people not sure if anyone has an answers for me. I stopped getting my xp screen. in general. at the end of every game i play the screen doesnt even show up to tell me the amount of xp i got, nor does it show the stats for the team. its at the point i have stopped ranking and have been stuck a level 50 for 2 weeks. I am not sure what brought this about. Who would i contact to even get this looked at or fixed, i dont feel like xbox tech support would have anything to do with it. and this is not daily xp cap this has been ongoing for weeks even after taking a 3day break i returned to find the xp screen was still not even showing up. i thought id wait it out thinking its just a glitch but after getting 3 challenges done and realizing that i hadnt gotten any xp for them or my games in matchmaking. at this point i’m losing hope. is there anyone to contact or do i wait it out and hope it gets fixed. i dont think its going to be fixed i think i’m stuck foreer never ranking up again

Which is the exact opposite of what Halo 5 did…MP is great, the campaign was utter garbage.
