So, I noticed there were patch notes for the new update. Friends have even downloaded it. I never got a download prompt when logging.
I did get the “Halo Wars 2 Update, New Patch Available!” Screen that popped up before getting to the main menu. But hitting continue took me to the game and the ‘patch notes on halowaypoint.com’ just took me to the patch notes. I never received any prompt to download the patch, even after googling and searching the store app.
any help? please fix.

I don’t know about on pc. If you guys are on Xbox then go to the “games and apps” where you see the list of apps, games, ready to install and updates. Here wait a few seconds then any update you still need for anything will load. If halo wars 2 does not appear in the list then you already have it installed.

As the poster, it sucks that 343 seems uninterested in this ‘bug’ but i managed to start playing again by uninstalling and reinstalling the game, there was no prompt to download a patch but i got to play; the patch must have downloaded itself on install or something i guess. Hope they fix this issue in the future. Because it happened again with the new 3-20 update. Thx 343, cant balance the game and you cant make it patch-able either?
