Recently I find myself as far away from my Xbox playing on my PC and I have been wondering why I stopped playing Halo 4. Its a great game but the community and these forums mainly make me lose interest where I could go to any other forum or community and find people find bad and good things in a game and there’s no hate at all. I’m really disappointed in the Halo communities behavior and there selfishness.
The main problem I see which is no competitive ranking can be easily solved. The way to solve it is to make a competitive ladder. See it wasn’t that hard. Or alliteratively you could join game battles. And trust me adding a competitive ranking won’t make a difference I remember only occasionally hearing people on there mics in competitive modes so I really don’t think it’ll impact that.

Well if it is that easy…why hasn’t 343i done it yet? Honestly this sounds like the ranting of somebody who is upset that not everybody likes what they like. Are some people selfish? Sure, but just because some people are doesn’t mean the complaints aren’t valid.
Grow up and remove yourself from your fantasy land that never existed.
I know how you feel, I stopped using the forums unless I have a thread and have something important to share like my love of Spartan Ops or the new Crimson playlist.
These forums were great but post release of Halo 4 has been a nightmare. Too many newcomers signing up and posting hate threads about the game. We need a positive Halo 4 forum and a negative one. Help people out a lot.
Try to only read positive threads OP, don’t let the negative stuff get in your system.

Wow, burn. I was going to say something like that but looks like somebody beat me to it.
How is that when someone is saying the community is selfish they bring up the lame competitive skill ranks from Halo 3 acting like it was a perfect system and if that was put into the game it would make everything all better not thinking about what it could promote.

That is THE question. Why cant a company full of college-educated developers financially backed by one of the largest and wealthiest corporations in the world implement a simple ranking system and fix file share which was already working in earlier titles? What is wrong with the world?
There are better quality Free-to-play shooters out there which are more polished and contain more content and options than Halo 4 does. It’s truly embarrassing.
From the threads I’ve read its not brand new people with new accounts that are the issue, I only started playing this year, and while I do not love the direction its taken I can see some positive aspects to the game.
However sheepy behaviour like not playing the game because people don’t like it and have the audacity to voice their displeasure? Yeah that’s really mature. If you want to play then play, if you don’t then don’t try to justify why and blame other people for it.
