Hi! good night everyone in Halo Community, i have this very little issue like 6 months ago… i contact with the support but really i don’t have a clear answer to this issue.
In short…i finish Halo 3 (Heroic) and Halo 3 ODST (Normal) campaign a time ago, but when you see my profile in the game, when you go to my stats in the H3 Campaign is say “Not Finished” i don’t know why is say that, in the support they said to me “update the game” or “try to re-sync the save” (but they explain for the Microsoft Store version, and i have the steam version) but the “update the game” it doesn’t work, i have the same problem i don’t know why.
I know it doesn’t affect at the gameplay but is annoying for me, other users see my stats and it’s say “not finished” when clearly i finish the campaign…
Any idea?

Interesting on the Halo waypoint website it is showing your completions accurately.
There is a support post detailing workarounds for a particular challenge not unlocking and in that article it shows how to resync the game. I know it’s a bit unrelated to your issue, but you could try the steps outlined in that article to see if it resolves your issue. You could also reply back to the support team on your ticket letting them know that you do not use the Microsoft Store version of the game.
The steps for steam in that post mentioned above are as follows:
Using this workaround may reset your campaign progress, settings, and temporary/private files, as well as un-equip your customizations. You will not lose these customization items; you will just need to re-equip them.
- In File Explorer, navigate to C:\Users[YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow - Copy the “MCC” folder here and save it to a safe location as a backup, then delete the original folder in “LocalLow”. - Disable Steam Cloud synchronization for the Master Chief Collection. To find this option, right-click Halo: The Master Chief Collection in your Steam Library, click on Properties, then go to the Updates tab.
- The option for Steam Cloud synchronization may also be under the General tab depending on which version of Steam you are using. - Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata[8 DIGIT STEAM USER ID]. - Backup then delete the folder here named “976730”. - Launch Halo: The Master Chief Collection. - Complete the Challenge again. - If successful, restore the backup folders you made and re-enable Steam Cloud synchronization.

It’s also possible your antivirus or firewall is blocking some communication of completions to the server
