The moderation on here is a joke. I’ve had bug report threads locked for stupid reasons, threads get locked because not every one agrees, threads get locked because of what other people in the thread broke the rules.
like how is this offensive I once got this message hidden for being politically offensive for saying “they should rename mythics to trump cards” as a play on words joke in a thread flaming Trump but flamed comments were not edited nor was the topic locked.

Cuz there’s other threads talking about it? And they were up before yours? If I were a mod I wouldn’t have time for people’s B.S. On continuously making new threads on a specific topic.
You’re already going to get this one locked as you’re choosing to not message a mod on the issue, instead you’ve already said the moderation is a “joke” which I would not appreciate if I “were” one. I’d love to see how you’d handle it.

Technically those are different topics cause they are all about the the hype train for halo 5 birthday. Plus there is a ton of them so that reason shouldn’t be valid if that is the reason there shouldn’t be a ton of them.

Well every moderation question I’ve asked has been answered. It may have taken a few days, but they got back to me eventually. As long as you’re not overtly negative generally they’ll leave your stuff alone. Plus, they have every right to help the thread stay consolidated. I appreciate their effort in that area. Whether you think it was a similar topic or not.

If you can’t see why then there’s no explaining or helping you.
You’re allowed to express your opinion(s). But if there is a major thread already, post your opinion(s) on that thread since there is no need for another thread regarding the same topic.
For example, there is no need for either Sprint or Playable Elite threads anymore, since there are already major threads regarding those topics.

Exept thread not about those topics will get locked if they mention those topics in conjunction.
I can’t speak to this specific situation, but to OP’s point, early on during my forum days I had a few forums locked for seemingly bizarre reasons… one in particular was me speculating about Halo 5’s story and where they were going to go with it… complete guesswork… but it was locked for possible “spoiler content” even though none of those predictions were actually true when the game was released. Oh well though - you just have to learn to work within the forum rules, even if they sometimes seem strange.

It’s not offensive, but on the forums we are not allowed to discuss politics, and as the red text says, your thread is considered as “non-constructive”, meaning that the thread wasn’t going to move forward in a good direction. The monitor locked your thread because it did not go towards news, gameplay, bugs, etc.
