when i log onto halo waypoint on my pc it has a profile thats not my own. how do i fix this?
Are you signing in with the windows live ID associated with your gamertag?
im using my windows live id and my password. i only have one profile so it has to match my email right?
And what gamertag SHOULD be showing?
When you sign into your Xbox, go to account settings and make sure you have the same email address linked.
for instance on halo reach im tognocturn rank legend. but when i sign into waypoint im magneticlamb0 rank recruit. i have never seen this profile and it has never been played.

So just to clarify, you ARE indeed signing in using the same e-mail and password from your Xbox LIVE Account?
Like doodle said, you can check your e-mail on the dashboard.
Also, try logging into Xbox.com and see if it shows MagneticLamb0 or Tognocturn.
