With the 250 additional gamerscore added by the anniversary maps that will bring up Reach’s gamer score up to 1650.
On top of this though it was recently discovered on the Halo Waypoint app on the xbox that an additional 50 gamerscore will be added for the defiant map pack too. That’ll bring to total to 1700 gamer score, just fifty short of the cap.
This would seem to indicate there’s probably only one more dlc left to go, maybe even none. I can’t imagine only leaving only fifty gamerscore for one more dlc. The fact they decided to add even more gamer score to an older dlc pack seems to suggest they’re just done, which is surprising and disappointing. We’ve got a ways to go before Halo 4 even comes out.
Good point, never thought of that. But when you think about it, H4 isn’t really that far off. Counting HCEA, we would have 3 map packs. That’s not horrible.
I guess it’s not horrible, but it’s still disappointing. Reach only shipped with 9 multiplayer maps, the lowest count the series has seen so far and after anniversary it will have only received eleven dlc multiplayer maps which is less dlc maps than what Halo 3 got.
I reckon we will see more DLC, but without any achievements to follow pursuit. What I would like to see is different variants of Forge World. Just like Halo 3’s Avalanche and Sandbox, but forgeable.

True, but there have been endless community made maps added.
The maps we get from halo CEA will go under the halo CEA list not the reach one. Even though they are played on the reach engine they will go under CEA I assume. When the maps are released as another download then I don’t know what will happen.

Yes but eventually they are going to assimilate them with the normal reach playlists.
