-Recoil for BR.
Unnecessary. But as long as it’s going to be predictable, and not overly-exaggerated, I’ll give this feature a shot.
-Armor will not be purely cosmetic anymore.
No. This won’t work, in any playlist, in anything. This has never been anything that has ever been asked for. This has been something that’s been feared by Halo’s main fanbase and competitive population, and many other players in general.
This will just end up in players coming off of spawn unevenly. However ‘unevenly’ it may be, it’s a problem. This is not what Halo in its essence is. Halo:Reach was the only game to disobey this rule, and look how that turned out. It was the failure of the Halo series, and almost ended up being kicked off of the MLG circuit, when formerly, tickets used to sell out in less than five minutes to events. “Formerly” meaning pre-Reach.
-Slayer scoring system
Incase you haven’t figured it out yet, it is scored by a medal system (See: First Look). At one point when a player gets a kill, a headshot medal, and another medal that I couldn’t recognize each popped up onto the screen. Each medal was worth 5 points (deduced from the fact that each one had the number ‘5’ under it). When the player got a kill, their score increased by 10.
Say I get an assist, and my teammate, as a result, gets a kill. His headshot medal will be worth 5 points, my assist medal will be 3. Our team will gain eight points.
This is just stupid, unnecessary, and uncalled for. This will force teams to play slayer in an unnatural, and odd way, often opting for an assist rather than attempting to finish off a kill, like what should be done. Why are we being encouraged to not kill in a slayer game?
