Ok, i see in the other post that people are complaining the 343i is the reason Halo 5 is not working. guys its not just Halo 5 plenty other games and apps are not working either, proof to my point is that MCC is working and guess what, its run by 343i, wow! so before you guys go and complain about server issues please look and make sure its not just Halo 5. I am seriously tired of seeing ignorant people saying 343i screwed up Halo, because they really didn’t. every day i go on the forums and mostly see people complaining about things that are simply stupid. so please don’t judge a production company for server issues, please start a complaint thread on the appropriate site I.E. Xbox.com.
Agreed. The negativity seems to be a forum issue, I play with loads of people that all love H5

MCC doesn’t share servers with Halo 5… try any other company’s games
That might be true, but it IS 343s FAULT that we cant use lots of the features such as Forge. I am currently waiting for Forge to get back online, do you even know how sad that sounds?
People are upset with 343 because 343 chose to make the game online only. And this is what happens when we have online only games. When servers are down we can’t do anything but play the campaign. At least with the other Halos we could still do custom games and Forge. Can’t do that in Halo 5.
The negativity and hate is well deserved for their idiotic decision.
i play Halo 5 10-15 hours a day and i am ok with spending a little time off i literally have almost 1000 hours in this game, trust me when i say i know its frustrating

For all the money these companies collect, how difficult can it be to either:
- Restore to your last backup and restart
- Repair / Replace the bad server or network card
- Implement redundancy in your critical systems
These basics should not cause you to recover in less than 3 hours max.
Disaster Recovery (DR) is practiced by all major corporations.
Why should these servers and networks receive any less treatment
considering the investment involved?
That is true, but when it does work, there is no host privilege allowing one or more persons to have an advantage.
It could be a constant DDR attack against Xbox… Only other time this happened was back at Christmas when Xbox was attacked.
