I’ve heard it’s supposedly on the scale of Game of Thrones, and it’s being aired on Showtime (as well as XB1). Awesome. And not to mention it’s been 2 years in the making.
It’s meant to air around the same time as Halo 5. AND also Executive Producer Stephen Spielberg!
I think it’s going to be a very pleasant surprise at E3. People have been so worked up with Halo 5 that the TV show hasn’t crossed our minds for ages.
What will it be about? Do you have any theories, will it connect to H5:G? Who’s pumped?
I think the storyline must be beyond what we know yet, so maybe we need to play HALO:5 before we can see a trailer. Otherwise it’ll be nonsensical and reveal too many spoilers.
I really hope so!! Didn’t they say that the show is being released around the game?

Well I’m very mixed about this.
I want it, and I really want it to be good. However, though Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn was good, Nightfall, despite the larger budget and older cast was horrid. It was so bad that it sort of squashed my hopes for the TV series after Forward Unto Dawn with all its heart had made me believe.

Steven Spielberg is going to have to make this halo show as good in quality as Jurassic park (the first one).

Has to be, Nightfall was just a huge disappointment.
oh yea I forgot about this! now I am excited. Hopefully they will kind of tie in Nightfall and expand on How Locke became a Spartan

It’s not entirely out of the question. Microsoft did buy up the most expensive TV advertising slot in the world to advertise H5:G. I’d say they’re aiming to put Halo on the stage other sci-fi universes like Star Wars/Trek stand on: a well known, multi-media-spanning pop culture figure.

Or maybe it is kind of another back story for locke. Maybe how he met with his squad in H2A prologue and epilogue.

I am BEYOND pumped for some news on this TV show. We haven’t heard a word of news on it in over a year. I think that’s how they wanted it, so that they can get us by surprise and blow our minds.
I wasn’t a huge fan of Nightfall – didn’t believe the characters’ performances and couldn’t get connected. I bet you twelve pantaloons that the Spielberg one will be fantastic.

If The Halo TV series can stand up to rival the likes of pop culture GIANTS like Star Wars and Star Trek, I will be one happy guy.
