The gameplay I have seen saddens me because this truly is a sellout type of game. Way too many big changes are taking place. Also the newest halo 4 trailer was corny and dissapointing. The forunners could look so much better. Even the way when the skeleton faced forrunner jumps on the chief reminded me exactly of what happens in reach when the elite jumps on the spartan. It really doesn’t look that much like halo to me anymore. I miss the trilogy when it seemed the good ideas were still flowing. It’s reach 2 everyone, enjoy.
First of all they are not actual forunners, they are like Forunner AI Defence thingys YEAH! lol
second I think Halo 4 is going to be a Huge success and its going to RUN COD INTO THE GROUND AND THEN URINATE ON ITS GRAVE, harsh I know but its cod, come on Halo Fans!
i feel you in some places but the game play still looks like halo and i still get that halo feel i just hope 343 implements a good ranking system that is skill based rather then ranking up the longer you play.
The game has alot of potential and in my eyes and many others; the game looks really good so far but there still can be changes so we will have to wait and see
Well, if you’re going to want to know what’s happening in the story line and continue to play Halo, you’re going to have to accept these changes even if they do favor the casual community.

Personally, I think the game looks freaking great. Sure, the game doesn’t scream the traditional style of the original trilogy, but I am absolutely open to change and that’s exactly how I felt with Reach. I, for one, will be enjoying this Halo title this winter, but not everyone has to like it. If you’re not impressed or don’t like the direction in which the series is heading, then just don’t buy it. It’s that simple and just find another game to fill the void (good luck with that, though :p).
That’s a nice opinion. Also, thanks for not completely bashing it with no thought on what it actually is; many people have the habit of doing that. I understand your reasoning for disliking Halo 4, so thank you for sharing your opinion. However, one thing that should not have been in your post is that it is going to be “Halo Reach 2” that’s a false accusation and a misinterpretation in that the game itself is actually called “Halo 4”. I just wanted to clear that up.
Lolz. It doesn’t look like Reach to me and to tell you the truth it looks amazing. But if you really don’t like it I guess there is a copy of Halo 2 Vista somewhere with your name on it.
Sucks for you. Doesn’t look like a sell out to me. Gameplay looks more like Halo 2 & 3 but features improved aspects of Reach. Sure some thing like hit markers were added and yeah lets face it some things came from other games. But thats game design you gotta look at what work in other games and make it work in yours in its own unique way. Now people are saying Halo is becoming CoD. I thinks thats wrong. Not only is the gameplay still nothing like CoD. But Halo is still doing something CoD hasn’t done in years or will. Its changing, not too much and noth too little. Halo prides itself on the variety of differences in each title while still upholding quality (You can exclude reach if you want. I’m calling it the Halo 4 beta now) and not on the quantity of releases like CoD.
You can call it Reach 2 but i will call it Halo 4.
I will enjoy the game most certainly and you can be miserable come November when you decided not to play it
i like to think that halo is a game that i can come to play and have a fair chance against other people online, a game where i can play to show off skill or just have fun and play with friends. A game where I can have an actual battle and use our own personal set of skills to kill the other player not a game were its just a draw and and you die in half a second like Call of duty, so in that sense halo is still halo, but dont get me wrong halo is going to change and it has but still that makes halo even more like halo because halo changes Call of duty does not. For all those who want halo 4 to be like Halo CE or Halo 2 or 3, THAT IS NOT HALO. And also you have to remember that halo is a game that has a wide array of different communities like those who come to play halo for forge , fun, competition, a team experience, lone wolf, cool screenshots, and even jumps and HLG. So you see halo is not one community it is many so stop giving hate to others because of our different opinions because, we all come to play for a different aspect of the game and Halo 4 is going to have it all. HALO IS STILL HALO!!! 343 is doing a fantastic job and is bringing new life to halo. So please just have faith because a true halo fan would
