Frank confirmed back in July that the Forerunner world in Halo 4 is not the Shield World that Dr. Halsey, Mendez, Fred, Kelly, Linda and the Spartan III’s are on. So for all you peeps out there think that’s were Master Chief’s going, you are sadly mistaken.

Yeah I think we’ve all already heard about this…
HOWEVER, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Halsey, Mendez, Fred, Kelly, Linda, and the Spartan III’s won’t show up at some point in the trilogy 
I could care less if the chief goes to Onyx, I just really want to see those characters in action at some point in the Halo games.
However, the new Data Drop thing is suggesting that onyx is going to be revisited. Probably tying into Glasslands.

We’ll just have to wait and see, it would be logic to be onyx, the ship is being dragged inside the planet, probably where the Mycro Dyson Sphere is.
