After some matches the game shows the roster which is instantly abrupted by a loading icon and after a few moments the carnage report appears without showing post-match XP gain. As it turns out because of this error, I earn zero XP despite playing the full game without my hands leaving the controller. This has to be a bug that’s probably a result of the double XP weekend because I don’t remember it happening before.
Happened to me also after a game of infection.
Have you checked your actual XP from the menu? It may be that it’s simply skipping the XP reward screen, but still giving you XP.
Yeh only noticed that 1 time…basically my entire team quits in invasion with me facing an unfair balanced vs and when game ends…no exp. So basically punished for staying in-game and holding my own because of it being impossible to help a non-existence team in an invasion map. Seriously did 343i even think about lone wolfers?
What I’m going to say is not quite related but it’s something I think people should be aware of if they’re trying to figure this out.
Sometimes your XP bar and XP count on the player profile can lag a game behind. This is most obvious if you’ve ever tiered up but noticed that your XP bar still appears to be nearly complete after leaving the carnage report; and yet you still have the season token.
It doesn’t sound like the same thing. But being aware of this should be helpful if you’re trying to figure out if your XP is getting credited.
tl;dr We’re not sure if XP is credited if it’s not displayed. And sometimes when your XP is credited it appears to lag a game behind even though the XP has actually applied.
