Not getting the update currently. It won’t show up whatsoever. Not when I boot up the game or if I go to settings and manage games. Tried resetting the internet and Xbox, nothing. My brother was able to download it fine on his xbox in the same house. What am I doing wrong?

Hmm, that’s strange. I had to reboot my Xbox to get it to work. Only thing I can think of is that you might be out of hard drive space?

Yep, I have around 30GBs left on the hard drive.

Does Halo 5 show up in the “Updates” section on your Games and Apps?
Sheesh. That’s very odd. I guess my best recommendation would be trying another hard restart and if it doesn’t show up, give it some time. Maybe even tweet to Xbox support!

Negative. Last update I had today was for the Blu-ray player.

nothing new here, somebody always has an issue getting the update which typically is solved with a full power off hard restart of the x1
UPDATE: After 4 hard resets for the Xbox and resetting the internet twice, I’m still not getting any option to update. I guess I’ll I can do is wait and see. Thanks for everyone who tried to help.
Worst case scenario, you may have to reinstall the game. There was a game on my Xbox that, during an update, something happened that prevented the update from completing. It ended up corrupting the game file. I had to reinstall the game, then it worked fine.

Search up halo 5 on the xbox store and it will say ‘Halo’s biggest update ever’, then install it, it appeared on the right of my home screen. Of that doesn’t work you can go onto your apps and games and then click on updates and it should appear there
