I basically started playing halo 5 online and opening req packs this weekend. have used more than 50,000 req points to buy gold and silver packs, and some bronze packs. i have yet to see ANY helmet, armor, stance, assassination or weapon skin cards. i feel like something is wrong with my account, as i just watched a youtube video of someone open 3 gold packs in a row, and they immediately unlocked a helmet, 2 armor cards and an assassination. has anyone else seen this issue? maybe i’m missing something. maybe i’m not at the right level yet? but i’ve been playing team slayer, and my rank next to it is platinum II. any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi mate welcome to Halo 5! Gold packs(Uncommon to Legendary) and Silver Packs(Common to Rare) guarantee 2 permanent unlocks while Bronze(Common) packs have a CHANCE at a permanent unlock. You have to start from bronze and work your way up to silver and lastly Gold. This will take time… I’m level 90 and am still opening Silver Packs. Hope this helps:)
Thanks for the reply Ishan. But, I have opened over at least 8 gold and silver packs, and have not gotten any of the said cards.
There are alot of reqs in the system it is going to take many, many packs to start getting stuff you want, or it may be in the next pack. It is random you see. Follow the advice given and start with silver packs.
Thanks Matador. Yeah, I finally got a helmet in a pack. Thanks guys for the help. I wish Halo 5 had an armor and customize system that was a fusion between reach and halo 4.
