Not Getting Double XP

So, about a week ago, I got back into Halo 5, and I’ve hit the 152 grind HARD. I’ve spent most of my time playing Mythic Firefight over and over just to get more and more XP. Thing is, I couldn’t tell if I was getting the December Double XP, because I had forgotten how much XP I would normally get. Upon further investigation, it seems as if I’m not getting the Double XP.

I feel awful about this. I missed out on a lot of XP, and as time goes by I’m missing out on more and more. I still have a long way to grind, so every little bit helps. Could it have something to do with the fact that I wasn’t online when the Double XP period began?

How much XP were you gaining per match? With a Legendary boost, I believe you should be getting around 25,000 XP per match.

Man, it’s hard to remember. I switched to regular firefight right after I made this post and the two modes just sort of blend together in my head. I could get up to 25k, but I don’t think I got there very often.
