In the last two dozen matches I’ve played I have only gotten the Battle of Noctus once. I also noticed that I’m joining more matches in progress. These are always on the old 3 maps. My speculation is that people are trying to play the new map and if they don’t get it will simply quit leaving people like me who don’t quit to play in matches that are often losing battles. Has anyone else noticed this? I tried googling it but I found nothing maybe cuz I didn’t Google the right thing. How often do you get the Battle of Noctus map? And have you noticed that you’ve been joining more sessions in progress lately?
I hate the Noctus map due to the glare issue (much like the snow map) for one side and not the other. I’ve had it six times out of my twenty two warzones today.
much to another point you’ve made; of the twenty two Warzones, I have joined twelve late (four being Noctus) and always in a game were my teams getting roflstomped.
I’m curious as well. Are others getting a lack of Battle of Noctus matches?
I’ve played 10 or 11 games of Warzone since the update and only had Noctus once.
I played with my friends and got it a good sum of times. One time 3 in a row.
the map rotation is terrible and its always been terrible in halo 5. its not getting noctus it is the map rotation in general. Ive been through stretches of not getting noctus for 5-10 plus matches and have gotten it 2-4 times in a row. its a shame its like this but it is what it is
The first game i joined in the update was battle of noctus.
I had it 3 times out of maybe 7 or 8 games so it is in there
I’ve got it once out of 15 or so Warzone Matches. One of my friends have done 20 or so but haven’t gotten it yet. Simply luck I suppose.

Lol so this IS why I’ve been getting stuck in more games already started on old maps. It can be tempting, since warzone is desperately in need of map variety. Sucks theres no “map veto” like in Halo 3.
I have played only 5 games of Warzone since update but have had Noctus twice. I got it after my 2nd game.
I guess I’m lucky I got it a couple times in a row last night I do really like that map
my buddies an i have been playing on it about half the time, but i think we are in the minority we dont like playing on it lol
Battle of Noctus sucks anyways. Worst warzone map so far. Love all the old ones. I dashboarded the last time I saw that map come up
It’s been almost a week since it’s been out and I’ve yet to see one new map… like wtf…
I havent even played htis map yet. I think I played maybe 6 warzone games since it came out though. And 4 out of those 6 was on stormmarch

I wish it played more too. I played 4 warzone matches consecutively after the update hit. None of them were Noctus, and I’ve been so busy all weekend that I hardly got a chance to play. I wish it had more prominence in the playlist. Oh well, we are short on luck since 343 staff is on holiday. Hopefully I’ll have a chance to play the level soon.
I have only played it once but my first impressions are that I would rather go back to arena. The big monument in the middle breaks up the gameplay so much the whole thing just feels disconnected. I rarely found myself actually fighting with a teammate except for the match start and is was just a bunch of people running around like they had no idea what was going on.
Maybe the map would play better on Assault but don’t fret over it to much. You are not really missing anything.
