been enjoying myself on halo 4 matchmaking and have experienced an unhappy encounter of not being able to earn xp, is there any other person having these problems? would like to know or have help on how to fix this 
There are two possibilities.
1: You hit the XP cap. You can only earn a set amount of XP per day, when you hit it, you’ll be informed of it and you won’t get any XP for that day. It resets 24:00 your time.
2: You’ve done something to upset the banhammer, there are numerous ways to do this, such as AFCing (starting a game and leave the controller on the floor and doing nothing ingame), Boosting and what other methods there are.
Halo Gods
I have been playing matchmaking games and completing war game challenges but have not seen the challenge points added to my end of game XP. It shows points for game wins ext. but nothing for challenges. It shows in career that I have completed challenges but score does not reflect said points. Please advise!
Challenges are added at the post game screen when you recieve the points for the game. They are just not shown in the list of what you’ve earned. You’ll notice if you play alone and get the monthly.
Unsure wether or not Commendations are added during the score screen or just added in game.
They are added though, so don’t worry.
Ok thanks I just haven’t seen a change in XP total after completing challenges thus far. I was told with a pre order to rank up to SR50 before 11/20/12 to gain access to additional specialities beyond Wetworks and Operator (standard edition) is this information correct?
cheers for the information the xp cap notification just appeared for me so that would mean i must wait to gain more which sucks aha was enjoying myself and am nearly 50 
I wish to further this question, exactly how much is the xp cap? And would using double xp affect how much the cap is
All the Dew XP does is limit your daily play time further. it does not raise the cap at all. It would have been nice if we were told this while they were advertising the the promotion. Especially since MW3 had the same promotion and they never had any kind of XP cap.
