im not talking about the YouTubers and the MLG guys. im talkin about the People that got it Leaked, iilegal, pirate,Burn, Copy ECT. i got some friends playing it 2 weeks early,and already trying get higher rank.and one of em say theres like around 4,000 people playing.
so what im trying say is that when this game comes out and the once that havnt played it or started, are going to face the people that are higher ranks and have all armor,pretty much everything. and 343 is not gonna restart every one that played it before Nov.6?, or even put a level cap like bungie did?. i mean i dont care if people are already playing it, just that where gonna have higher level people playing when lots of us just got the game on release date. To me this isnt fair. i just hope 343 resets everyone before release date,or does something like bungie did.

Every game gets leaked, not to be harsh…but ya kinda have to get over it.
People will be higher ranks, chances you coming across them will be slim, since pretty much everyone else will be in the same boat as you.

im sure they have a reason…those who play burned games get banned lol and the people who r uplaying it allot of them are journalists reviewing the game…but also there are a few pirates thrown in there theres nothing u can do about that sept ban them. just shut up and wait the game comes out tomorrow night…
Take into account that theres gonna be a mass amount of players added when HAlo 4 comes out, so the odds of coming accross high ranked players wont be that bad

the SR rank means nothing and if you think you’l be at a disadvantage because your friends are a higher SR rank then you should be playing halo
Life is not always about being fair. The game got leaked, there is nothing people can really do to stop it and people are going to moan and cry about it. Thats why people go dark. They play because they want to do it fairly and they become the example we should all follow.

I think what the OP is getting at is, these players will have a lot of stuff unlocked that the people playing for the first time don’t. Also, to address the comment of games always getting leaked, They have reset ranks on launch day for every other Halo game that has come out since Halo 2. Why would this change now.
The first few rounds will suck, but it doesn’t take too long to get the good stuff

There’s only 4,000 people playing apparently (according to Kotaku) compared to the hundred of thousands of people or million people that are waiting until the midnight launch. Chances are, you won’t see them and if you do it’ll probably be like once every couple dozen matches.
Also, resetting the ranks on legitimate players that got their copies early isn’t really fair to them. That would be like them resetting our ranks every day because someone new just bought the game and they think it’s unfair we ranked up before they got to play.

No it wouldn’t. 1 release date = 1 rank reset at 12:00 am on Tuesday. Nothing unfair about resetting at the RELEASE DATE.

Like I said though, you won’t be running into too many of those players anyways, unless Halo 4 only sold a couple thousand at midnight lol.

In every video game ever made people get it early no matter what it is, people will always steal and pirate video games, no matter what we do.

What Bungie did?
Well 343 should have done like Epic Games. Block the single-player and multiplayer before the official midnight release. Too bad they didn’t now i’m dying of jealous.
Why?
The vast majority of people will be getting it release day, leaving a small portion of people who got it early. They’re not going to impact hardly anything. As far as them getting it illegally, a reset isn’t what they need, a ban is what they need.
If you are worried about being at a disadvantage due to not having unlocked anything. You do realise that no matter what 343i do, someone will always be at a disadvantage from launch due to timezones, work, school and other various reasons. Seeing as there are default loadouts that every player can choose from, my suggestion to you is to simply get over it.
Seriously how far are they ahead by playing just a couple days early? Don’t worry about it, it will all even out after a few weeks.
