not exactly open world

Almost all of youtube and the also the community members of halo are in someway convinced that this next halo game is open world. I have not seen however anything on a prey/doom type of open world/linear type of campaign. For those that have no idea what i mean, the type of campaign i am talking about is one that is linear in the way that you have one big objective, but you have side-quests or smaller missions that could change the ending. if not the ending maybe the way your experience is. Just picture this, when chief finds out about the new suit, he also learns of the new augmentations he needs to wear it, and it is not a spartan lll augmentation, more like a spartan ll were it is more high risk with it still being a sort of injection type of change. it cuts to chief in the suit and you participate in a difficult quicktime event. If you do a good job, you are rewarded with chief being faster, stronger, and when you get shot, he doesn’t move around as much. If you do poorly, chief is still stronger and faster, but maybe in fights or just in the open he gets small twitches as a side affect, and when he gets shot, his reticule goes off by more than usual. as you play, your condition gets better and better, but it makes beating the game harder than if you did well during the augmentations. the harder the difficulty, the harder it is to do a good job on the quick time event. please discuss in the chat what you think.

Doesn’t sound like halo. I want another halo game please.

I’m going to have to second this notion. What is described above doesn’t sound very appealing to me at all honestly.

Also, I’m not sure what you’re getting at here. Why would he ever get a Spartan III Augmentation when Master Chief himself IS already a Spartan II?

what i am saying is not a spartan three augmentation, but like a spartan three augmentation (liquid based injections throughout the body). Plus, we see chief become a spartan 4 at the end of halo 4. but i do understand why people would not like it, if i were to choose something like this or a complete open world game, i would choose complete.

Master Chief does not become a Spartan IV at the end of Halo 4, he is very much still a Spartan II. He has his armor removed at the end of the game, but that wouldn’t include further augmentation to his body in any way.

I’m such a Halo nerd that your posts make me angry, especially the “we see chief become a spartan 4 at the end of halo 4” sentence. ahahah omg

Chief did not become a spartan 4 in halo 4. So I’m not sure where u r going with that. Also complete open world? That’s not halo, has never been halo, and I pray will never be halo. I do believe u are at the point where you would be better served by a different franchise. Halo is simply a different game that what u are looking for, and frankly it has a different fan base because of it. It makes no sense to completely walk away from what that fan base has vocally stated it expects and wants for the franchise.
