The reconnect option should be in the game, especially in ranked. But devs dont even acknowledge this issue. This should be their highest priority. They talk about everything but that. Every post of theirs is about some cosmetic fluff and battlepass when they should focus on stability and barebones functionality of the game.

Totally agree, reconnect feature for ranked is a must, I even got banned for disconnects on ranked. Was winning.

I havent crashed or dced myself for 2 weeks now, but every third ranked game or so gets ruined by someone randomly dropping off the game. So i want the feature for others more than i want it for myself. But most of the players and devs seem to only be concerned about cosmetics, like cmon that stuff should be an addition to a game and not it’s focus, sort your technical issues first 343
My brother turned on my xbox while I was playing on my PC, and it booted me from a ranked match we were dominating in, and closed Halo letting me know that I was now playing on a different device, when all my brother did was load up Netflix. I imagine the xbox still had Halo running in the Background from the night before, but still, I wasn’t able to reconnect to my match, even though it took me no longer than 30 seconds to reload the game. So the ability to reconnect would be nice. Even request time out like in other competitive environments for a short period of time.
I mean, ok, I got disconnected, feel bad for my teammates, but now getting banned for it is just dumb, reconnect has to be added to ranked.
I’m getting to 100 in my battle pass and will take a vacation from Infinite, 700 games in and I can say there are a ton of issues that were not in previous games. I feel a bit cheated since I payed for the battle pass and still have to play their game to get all of the items.
Can’t wait to unlock my 6th gray shader on level 99… hahahaha
