Why aren’t more of you playing deathmatch?
Standard is soooooo boring. If you’re reading this, and you play standard, please stop and start playing deathmatch instead, I need more people to murder.
because deathmatch is to easy. in standard you start off limited and it requires skill to win.
That’s one of the lamest things i’ve ever heard… I’m playing right now. If you think that it requires no skill to play deathmatch then sign in and bring it on fool.
I won’t get pulled into a grudge match against someone who plays deathmatch all the time.

It certainly takes skill, theres no question. It is a different set of skills when compared to standard.
Though, I would also argue that standard does take MORE skill than deathmatch.
The main difference is economy management. Maintaining hook control and a good economy are nearly irrelevant in Deathmatch, which are major elements in an RTS. Deathmatch does require a lot of micro, but so does Standard to a degree, especially in 1v1.
It took me thousands of games to reach my full potential in Standard. It took me about 50 games in Deathmatch to get front page in 1v1 last reset. 
Deathmatch is easy!
