it has come to my attention that many players of halo reach are being under awarded for their efforts in campaign and fire-fight. Currently at the end of one of the campaign or fire-fight matches you get 165 cr (credits) I don’t believe this to be enough. When Halo Reach first came out you where likely to get somewhere between 2000-6000 cr per game a much more fair amount of cr for the effort put in.
I did a little working out and found when reach first came out for five matches you would earn 12,500 credits average and now you only earn about 1000. my guess as to why this is was the boosting that took place. I came up with ways of stopping this as well. the most well know ones are oni sword base mission start and long night of the solace when you attack the corvette. the simple answer to stopping this is to not award credits full stop in the small sections of the campaign. now the question remains how will we change the credits to make it fair but so booster don’t boost. well again I have suggestions but no instant cure but as a community I am sure we will come up with something. here is my suggestion. 10,000 cr max per game on kills alone and 100,000 max on campaign and fire-fight NOT multi-player per day if this doesn’t stop the boosting it will slow it down especially with my earlier suggestion of no credits in certain “easy to boost” areas.

campaign was really designed for the story and general gameplay of the audience. this is why you receive more credits in multiplayer because it is a competitive field where you are rewarded for your efforts.
I think you also got less from Campaign after getting a few commendations
You can get plenty of credits if you have low commendations in campaign and are improving all of them. But yeh its not there to be getting loads of credits, its for the story. A general rule though is the higher your rank, the more credits you get per game.
If people wanna boost I say LET THEM.
What bussiness is it of anyone when all it does is gets people to Inheritor quicker and on Halo Reach RANK MEANS NOTHING.
You cease gaining credits for commendations in the campaign after a commendation hits silver. Iron and bronze and you get credits. I know because support role is at iron, going on bronze and it’s the only thing I gain credits for, the next two lowest comms are for small arms and auto wep kills both of which are silver.
The game complete for campaign, forge, custom, and custom firefight are all the same. They can’t be super high like they are in matchmaking because if they were you could just stay in campaign permenantly for hours at a time and gain credits that way. This would take people out of matchmaking and everyone knows fewer players online makes for boring play. Face off against the same people over and over and trust me it gets dull.
And people can boost, just remember if you do you’ll probably get credit banned. That won’t be changing.
Campaign boosting is not banable, Bungie and 343i said it was OK a long time ago, so campaign boost away. Even the Nightfall forklift glitch and the cutscene save and quit for demon and flawless cowboy is OK.
If it’s the cR you’re after, go for firefight and custom challenges.
800 Kills in ff mm, 3hrs - 10K cR
400 Headshots in ff mm, 3hrs - 10K cR (turn in and repeat when completed)
That’s 30K cR plus what you normally get from 8 - 9 Score Attack games. If you’ve done your 800 kills before your 2nd lot of 400 head shots, turn in the kills and set another kills one for 110 or 220, depending on if you need one or two more Gruntpoc games, so you don’t miss out on custom challenge cR.
Every time you head into matchmaking, set custom challenges. I set 75 Kills and 115 medals every time I go into BTB. BTB pays out large anyway, added with the custom challenges and ranking up is too easy.
Plus you have Nak3d Eli for all your regular challenges.
