I might look like some unexperienced forum and halo user, but I’ve been observing these forums for a while now, just never post.
There are way too many flaws in these anniversary gametypes.
- Jump height is just weird, and inconsistend. Increase gravity just a bit.
-Spawns on Prisoner are all clustered on the red side. I got a Sharpshooter without really trying, by just sitting by blue Sniper Spawn with the Sniper.
-Blue team on Headlong (Note, not breakneck) already has the advantage from the start. They get a Gauss hog, while red team gets a Banshee. Yes, a banshee can be very overpowered, but it is still no match versus an average Gauss gunner. Two-Shot Kill with incredible accuracy? Sorry, but the Banshee is destroyed after thirty seconds every game.
-What I notive about splattering is that it is so much harder to splatter in this gametype. And if you actually get a splatter, the vibration of the controller feels weird.
-The Rocket hog on Timberland was on Timberland on PC. Halo CE had a different hog, that shot three rockets in a magazine, then had to relead. Each rocket was one hit kill. The Rocket hog is a sorry excuse that flips over more than it kills.
Other than all the above, I love the new maps and the Campaign obviously is the campaign of the decade. Good job for this more-than-solid piece of work!
- Every map always has a hint of nostalgia, which was exactly what I wanted.
